That is a MUST to visit the white and the red sand dunes when your in Mui Ne.
There are great places to catch a beautiful sunrise and gorgeous sunset. It’s a tiny piece of desert in Vietnam, which gives you a different view of the country.
Enjoy Sand Boarding
Enjoying sand boarding is such a great experience. Many local children will stand by in red dune to rent the sand board to tourists with 20000Don(RM3.70). With a simple board, you can slide from the dune’s mount to its foot. This is extremely suitable for those who love adventurous.
Freshly Caught in Fish Village
Mui Ne Fishing Village is a great place to witness local life.The colourful fishing boats moored on the water, that is how local fisherman manage their day to day life. Tourists can buy a lot freshly caught seafood with the cheap price and enjoy the simple cooking seafood dishes just right there with the open view.
WHEN TO GO
The weather in Mui Ne is dry all year. But the best time to visit suggested by local people is between
August to April of next year. Even that is rainy season, most of the wet days in July, but Mui Ne has a very low amounts of rain. Don’t worry tourists! You can really go there any day during the year.
HOW TO GO
From Ho Chi Minh City, traveller can either take the bus, train or taxi to get to Mui Ne.
By Bus: We bought ticket and paid 120,000 Dong each(RM23). This is the sleeper seat bus which you can lay down and get some rest. It takes about 6-7 hours to get to Mui Ne.
By Train: The train journey time is 3 hours 44 minutes, ticket cost is $16-18(RM68-RM76).Note! If you travelling by train it will stop you at Phan Thiet, the distance between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne is about 5 km, you can reach by taxi or public transport. (There is no GRAB or UBER in that area)
